[12.10.2014 00:00:00] - Legendary grandmaster Vlastimil Hort is ruling over the tournament as well as last year. After first five round he has five points and is current number one. After him there is GM Ian Rogers with 4,5 points and seven players with 4 points. The only two rounds that took part on the second day of the tournament on the track from Wien to Budapest has brought us games of the biggest favorits. The best of them was GM Vlastimil Hort, who at first won with black pieces over GM Martin Petr and then over GM Petr Neuman with white pieces.

The oldest participant of the tournament, 88-years-old Marianne Hartlaub, got her first point by winning over Ruurd Admiraal.


The winners of last two Chess Trains Martin Petr and Vlastimil Hort have met on the first board during the fourth round.


Chess players from Brazil and Saudi Arabia Sidnei Bissacot Coutinho and Ahmed Khairat met during the fourth round on the way from Wien to Budapest.


The most famous player from Liechtenstein Renato Frick played against Dr. Guenter Haelsig.
