[30.04.2014 00:00:00] - Popular Chess Train will ride this year again! Meanwhile the Czech Railways and the Prague Chess Society are finishing the preparations, you can mark in your diaries, that from the Friday 10th of October until Tuesday 14th of October is your schedule already fulfilled!

Already the fourth year in a row, this special train will cross the Central Europe in mid-October. Chessplayers could play a rapid tournament in there and visit five beautiful Central European cities. Which will be the ones this year? The preliminary route leads from Prague to Vienna, continuing to Budapest, Trencin, Krakow and back to Prague. Altogether, you will cross five countries in five days.

The Chess Train is used to have ten cars, including the dining cars of course, and it is intented exclusively for the chessplayers and their friends and partners. Our train leaves every morning at 10 a.m. from the stage city, during the ride several rounds of the tournament will be played, and you can enjoy afternoon and evening spent by city sight-seeing. It is the only chess tournament, where your wife, which doesn´t play, will love to go.
