[06.08.2014 00:00:00] - For the first time a locomotive pulling the Chess Train will be decorated by chess symbols and after the tournament it will continue to pull ordinary trains. Electrical locomotive 362, which is being repainted into the chess design, is being called "the fast ace". After the first three years, when the Chess Train was pulled by locomotive in the colours of that time sponsor Era (this bank is no more sponsor of this years Chess Train), will be the design of the Chess Train finally unified. Heavenly blue, corporate colours of the Czech Railways and chess figures will now be not just on the carriages, but also on the locomotive. How do you like the design?
The graphic design was prepared by Spyron agency, which also made design for the Football Train, carrying fans to Poland for European Championship.
This years route of the Chess Train is Prague - Vienna - Budapest - Trencin - Krakow - Prague and we still have some free places for you to join. Who will decide fast enough to join us can be sure that the days from 10th October to 14th October will be spent on beautiful trip through Central Europe combined with an extraordinary chess tournament.
