Bank Chess Festival
Open chess tournament in the most beautiful palaces of Prague, under the patronage of the Czech National Bank governor Jiří Rusnok, will be played from November 28 until December 3, 2017, in the luxurious halls of the Czech National Bank and in the ancients salons of the CERGE-EI.
The priority right to participate in the Bank Chess Festival belongs to employees (current and former also) of banks, insurence and investments companies and other financial institutions. Other chessplayers will be able to apply in September.
There will be blitz, rapid and Fischer-random tournaments and sides events like festive opening party, simuls, exhibitions of Chess motives on notes and coins and Sightseeing trip over the chess tracks in Prague.
Chess Train 2017
(October 2017, Prague - Olomouc - Trenčín - Bratislava - Lednice - Prague)
The Chess Train 2017 will travel on the route Prague – Olomouc - Trencin - Bratislava - Lednice – Prague from 13th to 17th of October.
An 9-round rapid chess tournament will be held on board of the train during the journey among the cities.
If you would like to join in this unique event, don’t hesitate to register (at prazska.sachova@gmail.com). The number of seats on the train is limited, unlike the number of applicants from all over the world.
The seat on board of the Chess Train is EUR 199, the seat for accompanying passengers is EUR 149. Accommodation can be booked through the organiser in the selected hotels of 3 categories or by individual booking.
