The winner of The World Cup 2011 and 6 times winner of Russia championship Peter Svidler has played in Prague with the best Czech player David Navara. It was a match of 4 games (FIDE time control: 90 min / 40 moves, + 30 min till the end, + 30 s per move). The grandmaster Svidler won 3 : 1. The games were commented by Grandmasters Robert Cvek a Ján Markoš. The simultaneous games, lectures and exhibition made part of the chess festival ČEZ CHESS TROPHY 2012, which took place from 20 to 24 of June in Malostranska beseda (Malostranské sq. 21, Prague 1). The occasional post stamps and special postcards were issued for this event.
