Sights and landmarks of Lednice

Lednice Chateau, the large Lednice-Valtice park, Pálava Hills Protected Landscape Area and wine cellars everywhere, will put a spell on you, so much so that you soon will want to revisit this magical place.
Lednice-Valtice Complex, which was at the turn of 18th to 19th century shaped by the Liechtenstein Principality into nature reserve, is understood to be the largest cultural-natural landscape in Europe. Since 1966 it has been registered in the list of monuments protected as World Heritage Sites by UNESCO.
At the edge of the park on the right bank of the river Dyje is situated one of the most beautiful Czech Chateaus, and one of the finest examples of High Romanticism in our country. Chateau Lednice, which imitates Tudors Gothic style, is striking not only because of its exterior neo-Gothic decoration, but its interior is also beautiful.
In the evening do not miss going out to one of the local wine cellars for wine degustation, namely to try Moravian white wines.
