SIGHTS AND LANDMARKS OF BRATISLAVA

Slovak capital city has only a small historic center, but it would be a mistake not to see it. Old Town Hall where the brother of grandmaster Ftacnik is the mayor, as well as the Bratislava Castle and the Parliament should be seen by every visitor. In Café Roland at the Main Square you can see a wooden statue of a chess Turk, which recalls the famous cheat with supposedly genius chess machine, which was produced by Baron Wolfgang von Kempelen, a native of Bratislava. For an expensive lunch with luxury view of the city, you can sit in the "Eye" above Bratislava in the observation tower on the New Bridge across the Danube.
