The most beautiful studies and problems of Mario Matou, the best Czech chess composer of the 20th century, and bizarre chess stories of Pavel Houser connected by illustrations of Kristina Peichov into one splendid book.
The book was published also in limited numbered edition (100 copies), bound in imitation leather with an embossed diagram, paper cover and sewn ribbon bookmark.
On 240 pages you will found 45 studies and problems, 22 stories and 36 illustrations. The book is supplemented by biographies of both of the authors and several yet non-published photos. The book was published by Prague chess society in 2014.

[02.10.2018] - The eight year of the EY Blitz Tournament of Managers was won in the early Monday evening by Jan Hruka from EZ, who came ahead of the owner of a translation agency Jean-Francois Cantier and NNIPs manager Michal paek. The guest of honour for the evening, held by Prague Chess Society in AdAstra Caf, was a legendary Slovak chess player Jn Plachetka.

The Indian Grandmaster did a good chess job in the Sokol Palace
[17.06.2018] - randmaster Navara led 5:4 in three games, but unfortunately he didnt managed the finish line. On Saturday, Pentala Harikrishna won all three games and turned the game to his advantage.
Indian Grandmaster won 7: 5 and took the trophy for CEZ CHESS TROPHY 2018 winner.
On Sunday, the festival ends with the simultaneous display in Michna Palace on Kampa in Prague.

The exhibition about Schnirch and his chessmen accompanies the match of Grandmasters
[15.06.2018] - Bohuslav Schnirch, together with Josef Vaclav Myslbek, was the most significant Czech sculptor of the 19th century. For chess players, however, he is the first chairman of the Czech Chess Association and the author of the chessmen that are still used until these days. You can visit the exhibiton called Sculptor Schnirch and the Czech club chessmen at the festival EZ CHESS TROPHY 2018 at the Michna Palace in Prague on Kampa.

Harikrishna scored first
[14.06.2018] - Mayor of Prague 1 Oldich Lomeck made the ceremonial first move, and then Grandmasters David Navara and Pentala Harikrishna started the ruthless fight. In the first round, the Czech representative played with white pieces, but it was the Indian one, who gained a better position. Harikrishna had an extra pawn, but he didnt succeed to win, and Navara was glad for the draw in the first game.

[13.06.2018] - The EZ CHESS TROPHY 2018 was launched on June 12th by the unique blitz tournament on the roof of Lucerna Palace in Prague. Among the ninety participants was a number of strong Grandmasters, but the Golden Wenceslas Ducat for the winner was just one ...
In the beginning, the tournament was dominated by Master Tadeas Krieb, who started with a series of five wins and David Navara was among his victims. Chinese-Indian under time pressure castling
[04.06.2018] - The grandmaster Ding Liren broke his hip while cycling and he had to withdraw from an ongoing tournament in Norway and unfortunately, he wont be able to come to Prague. During the EZ CHESS TROPHY 2018 festival he will be replaced by the Indian second-best player, a grandmaster Pentala Harikrishna.
We are pleased that we were able to find such a strong and attractive opponent for our Czech number one, despite such a short time notice., said the director of the festival, Pavel Matocha.
