[08.07.2015 00:00:00] - The book of the best Czech chess player David Navara was published this week in a limited edition. One hundred numbered copies are bound in faux leather, supplemented by a cardboard book jacket and a textile bookmark.
Enlarge your chess books collection with this beautifully designed book of the best Czech chess player. A copy of “Muj sachovy svet” (My Chess World) in limited edition can be purchased for CZK 999 (plus postage) directly from the publisher (prazska.sachova@gmail.com).
The book, prepared with great care, will give you an insight into the world of grandmasters – its tournaments, background and relationships – and will also show how grandmasters think. The book features an autobiography of grandmaster Navara and his observations, descriptions and evaluations of various tournaments and matches, and primarily of his 51 most interesting games. Each of them is accompanied by a detailed and comprehensible commentary, the last one in rhyme. The book also includes grandmaster Navara’s three other poems.
The hardcover has 360 pages, includes dozens of photos (not only of grandmaster Navara, but also of his opponents and club partners) and is printed on a fine paper. It was published by the Prague Chess Society in June 2015.
