The most beautiful studies and problems of Mario Matouš, the best Czech chess composer of the 20th century, and bizarre chess stories of Pavel Houser connected by illustrations of Kristina Peřichová into one splendid book.
The book was published also in limited numbered edition (100 copies), bound in imitation leather with an embossed diagram, paper cover and sewn ribbon bookmark.
On 240 pages you will found 45 studies and problems, 22 stories and 36 illustrations. The book is supplemented by biographies of both of the authors and several yet non-published photos. The book was published by Prague chess society in 2014.

[02.06.2013 00:00:00] - You can use the journey across central Europe by the Chess Train to visit a jazz festival and some special performance of new circus. Both situated in Salzburg.
Jazz & The City festival takes place from 9th to 13th October all around the streets, bars, cafes, restaurants and of galleries Salzburg Old Town. Many chess-players will be pleased by the fact that the entry to the festival is free.
During the journey of the Chess Train will a worldwide famous entertainment company known as Cirque du Soleil be starring in Salzburgarena (Am Massezentrum 1). Their performance called Quidam takes place on Sunday 13th October at 5 pm. Because of the great popularity of their performances you will have to book the tickets as soon as possible (the prices are according to the quality of seat from 47 to 97 EUR).
