[15.10.2012 00:00:00] - We have organised the charity simul with GM Ján Plachetka for helping 3 years old Lea Jesenská from Piešťany, affected by CP. Not only the players of the simul, but also other participants of the Chess train and the Medical centre Adeli collected 565 EUR, that has been delivered to the parents of this small
girl. GM Plachetka played without requiring the fee.
GM Ján Plachetka played the simultaneous game with a time control (60 min for GM and 30 min for the adverseries) in the hotel Sorea Slňava just after the Chess train had come to Piešťany. Four people of the chess club ŠK PORG (Václav Klaus, Pavel Matocha, Jiří Krátký, Josef Bára) were among his 11 adverseries.
GM Plachetka won convincingly 10:1, when only the lawyer Jiří Navrátil obtained the worth victory over him.
The representatives of Piešťany, of the medical centre Adeli and of the local chess club were present to the opening of the simul. The chess players of Piešťany celebrate this year the 100 anniversary of the famous spa tournament.
For reminding, Akiba Rubinstein won the chess tournament in Piešťany in 1912. Chess Piešťany in 2012 were won by fair people who wanted to help diseased Lea and her parents.
