ČERNOBÍLÁ CESTA (BLACK AND WHITE ROUTE)
The most beautiful studies and problems of Mario Matouš, the best Czech chess composer of the 20th century, and bizarre chess stories of Pavel Houser connected by illustrations of Kristina Peřichová into one splendid book.
The book was published also in limited numbered edition (100 copies), bound in imitation leather with an embossed diagram, paper cover and sewn ribbon bookmark.
On 240 pages you will found 45 studies and problems, 22 stories and 36 illustrations. The book is supplemented by biographies of both of the authors and several yet non-published photos. The book was published by Prague chess society in 2014.

Reminiscence of old times
[15.10.2012 00:00:00] - The Chess Train passed through the post electoral Czech republic, orange and red now, when going
from Wroclaw to Piešťany, where the reminiscence of the old times continued due to the hotel Sorea
and his awful services, unwilling reception clerk, kitchen closed at 8:30 p.m. ,etc. Once it was a beutiful
flourishing spa town…
On the other hand, in the tournament, everything is proceeding fine, without any problems and
complications. First seed, grandmaster Martin Petr could ticked off even after the third round: nine
rounds, nine points. With two points less, FM Jan Dietrich Wendt is the second one at this moment and
on the third place stands Jiří Groh, representing České dráhy.
Four more rounds to the end of the tournament left, but the winner is almost sure. But for the other
rank, the fierce fight will be held yet.
