The most beautiful studies and problems of Mario Matouš, the best Czech chess composer of the 20th century, and bizarre chess stories of Pavel Houser connected by illustrations of Kristina Peřichová into one splendid book.
The book was published also in limited numbered edition (100 copies), bound in imitation leather with an embossed diagram, paper cover and sewn ribbon bookmark.
On 240 pages you will found 45 studies and problems, 22 stories and 36 illustrations. The book is supplemented by biographies of both of the authors and several yet non-published photos. The book was published by Prague chess society in 2014.

[08.10.2012 00:00:00] - The tournament trophy for the winner of Chess Train 2012 will be handed out by legendary grandmaster Vlastimil Hort, who participated in the first year of this interesting project of České dráhy and Prague Chess Society. The winner of this year can look forward the financial prize money of 25.000 CZK and also a gourmand basket of italian delicatessen, prepared by ERA, and the trophy in a form of glass locomotive from the glassworks Ajeto.
Who will be the first - if some grandmaster or some non-profesional player will surprise - this will be decided during the 13 rounds of this tournament in rapid chess that will take place during the ride of the Chess Train round the cities of Prague – Dresden – Wroclaw – Piešťany – Vienna – Prague.
