[17.10.2011 00:00:00] - After the third playing day IM Richard Biolek is leading the tournament in the Chess train. He has already escaped his opponents by reaching a point more. Will it be enough or will the main group knock his solo escape out? There are just eight rounds to the end and the main catching group is made up from GM Robert Cvek, Mark Gluchovskij, Jiri Groh and IM Jan Michalek.
Very good results in the tournament has achieved even a talent of Slovak chess nine years´ old Jergus Pechac (ELO 1960) who has reached four points in seven rounds and 26th place, while he beat French candidate Gregory Lux (ELO 2119) by a checkmate. Complete results you can see on ChessResults.com.
Most of Czechs felt in Bratislava nearly as at home and all very happy to be again in a civilization. The day was really beautiful and sunny, so that many people went for a walk through the Slovak capital and the others played a bowling tournament. Vlastimil Chladek, Director of Dopravni stavby Brno, prepared it in the National bowling centre for 32 participants of the Chess train. The best players were Zdenek Hlousek and IM Petr Pisk, among ladies Zuzana Cervena and Kristyna Nemcova.
In the sixth round two grandsmasters met, Vlastimit Hort kept draw with Robert Cvek
